The Interlibrary Loan service allows you to borrow volumes not held by the University Libraries.

The service is available to internal and registered external users and allows borrowing books not held by the University Libraries.
It is recommended to check the availability of the book in the UniTO Library Catalogue before requesting the service.
Non-registered users can access the service only through a library.

The lenght of the loan is 30 days and can be extended for a further 15 days if the item has not been requested by others. The requesting libraries undertake to comply with current legislation on copyright.
The following items are excluded from interlibrary loans:
- journal issues
- reference works (encyclopaedias, dictionaries, etc.)
- ancient or rare books
- thesis and dissertation
- other materials only available for reading on site

Please note: The service is carried out in a free reciprocity regime. When it is not possible, payment must be made by IFLA voucher.
