In some libraries of the University of Turin, a reproduction service for bibliographic materials is available. It may be used exclusively for personal purposes and in compliance with copyright law. The service is managed by Alba s.r.l., and procedures and rates are the same across all participating locations.
At the Natural Sciences Hub, the service is available at the following libraries:
- Department of Psychology "Federico Kiesow" Library
- Computer Science Library
- Department of Mathematics "Giuseppe Peano" Library
- Physics Library (suspended pending restoration: update October 10, 2025)
To use the service, it is necessary to purchase a card worth €5 (312 credits). Card dispensers are located at the following libraries:

- Computer Science Library
- Bobbio Library (Campus Luigi Einaudi)
- Tabacco Library (Palazzo Nuovo)
- Palazzo "Antiche Vetrerie" Berruto
- Library of Literary Sciences
- Agriculture and Veterinary Library
- Economics and Management Library
- BFM Libraries
The cost of reproduction depends on the document format and the print quality (black and white or color).
To print, files must be uploaded to a USB drive.
Detailed instructions for use and contacts for reporting malfunctions or problems are available next to the printing machines.
Please note: the library staff may not allow particularly damaged or poorly preserved items be handled and reproduced. Ancient, rare or high value works may be reproduced only after a previous authorization of the library staff.
The reproduction - inside or outside the library - of articles or parts of works is allowed for personal use only and in compliance with the copyright law (n. 633/1941 and subsequent amendments and additions).
